McDonald's 1993 Sonic the Hedgehog 3

In 1993 McDonald's promoted Sonic the Hedgehog 3 with 5 different toys.
 1) Sonic the Hedgehog races away
 2) Tails Miles Prower fly's
 3) Knuckles spins
 4) Dr Ivd Robotnik wind up
 5) For the under 3 crowd (Yellow ball with sonic or tails on it

The game was a sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog 2 both are side scrolling adventures. Sonic 3 added the ability for tails to fly for short periods of time by spinning his tail quickly. The game featured drop in co-op that allowed a second player to drop in at any time and play as tails. The game went on to sell over a million copies and is still being played by old and new fans today! 

During the promotion a sweepstakes was going on. You had a chance to win 1 of 10,000 copies of Sonic 3 for the Sega Genesis.
